According to The New York Times 2015 Article  there were 1.5 Million missing Black men as of April 20, 2015. Additionally, Black And Missing inc reports that 40% of the missing population is minority based, while African Americans make up only 13% of the population. 

The Black Branch: Missing Files was created to bring awareness to African American men who remain unfound but not forgotten.
